I actually LOVE these legging jeans/jeggings or whatever it is that you call them!
They have pintucks on the knee and cut and sew detail on front and back! they are a great cheap pair of faux jeans... HA faux jeans I like that word better!!!! :)

CAN'T GET YOU OUT OF MY HEAD

Here are a few design sketches that I am working on right now...

Of course I am a big fan of the finished and polished product but I also strongly believe that there is a stronger tale to tell in the concept sketch books from the beginning.

The first two pictures are a small collection (preliminary design sketches) that I will hopefully be producing in the near future.

The last 2 are pages (of many) from my recent sketch book to show how I work out my ideas/fabrics.

I always carry a sketch book with me wherever I go and they turn into a sort of fashion diary you could call it..... I write small notes of what I like or don't like or how I can improve etc....

I would love to get some feedback from you all!

I want to try and post my designs/sketches as well as outfit shots as I go along because they are both important to me and I hope that you like them too!! :)

I love the green in this photo. mixed with the peach nails and lips. (love peach btw)

This top I scribbled w/ a sharpie and made myself about 6 months ago when I couldn't find anything to wear. Although I feel like the copycat logo trend is on its way out or already gone infact I still cannot get enough of it!

PRINT GALORE

Being somewhat of a print designer myself I really appreciate this brand Ostwald Helgason

really wonderful use of print techniques and color.

Would absolutely love a big drapey version of one of these to wear with some sort of skinnies.

What's weird is that I actually prefer the pictures on the hangers. The look book on the website (ostwald helgason) doesn't impress me that much. I don't find it very impactful and with all the amazing photography happening these days you have to step it up if you want to make an impression.

But I still love the clothes and I'm glad I saw the trade show shots first!
