OK here's the first of the clothes shown in the big pile of crap in the previous post...:)

I absolutely love this cardigan, it's the perfect length and the lurex thread is woven into the fabric not painted as some of these kinds of pieces normally are!

And ....ER say hello to my new favorite boots... I know I'm about 10 seasons behind but when I saw them on the sale the other day they just had to be mine mine mine!... can't wait to wear them more in the Spring :)

I Paired it with the usual red lipstick (cheapo brand from Duane Reade (local Drugstore) by Brucci)... and I was ready to go!

TEASER...! CIRCLE AND TRIANGLE!

So I on Saturday I met with Karen from wheredidugetthat.
I have to say it's so nice to meet someone as lovely as her in this bloody concrete jungle... where sometimes I find people to be a bit crazy..... so it's so nice to meet someone who is down to earth and who also turns out to an awesome shopping partner! :D

I met Karen in Williamsburg (Brooklyn) so of course our first priority was to shop.

Found an absolutely amazing amount of bargains at Beacon's closet...(Shown above in a big pile)
I really love how these images turned out.... even if it is just a jumble of second hand clothes.....

It was only after I had bought all the clothes and put them in the shopping bag is when I realized there was a theme forming.... lots of sequins, gold and leopard print OH MY!

I'll prob be wearing all of this in the week to come so you can see them in their full glory!!!

SKETCH BOOK PART 6.

Here's basically a sketch of what I want to be wearing... Yes I cannot have it or afford it therefore I shall draw it and dream of it :)

1. one needs a drapey fur jacket... yes fur, yes drapey so will have to be lightweight! maybe with a contrast fabric for the sleeves! yummy!

2. one also wants some wet look leggings w/biker seaming detail and

3. one then needs a chiffon oversized top w/delicious bead detail and sheer cutouts!(strategically placed of course ;)

That's all haha!

Had a great day shopping today... and saw Mischa Barton in my local coffee shop!?

I felt very hollywood!

So Yesterday at 11am sure enough I was there at the corner of 7th ave and Broadway to see the all Project Runway amazingness, where they temporarily named the area PROJECT RUNWAY AVENUE to celebrate the return of the show to New York.

Sorry I didn't have my camera at the time so I don't have any pictures but you can see some here.

Although I didn't get to speak to Tim Gunn as I had hoped, I did speak to Carol Hannah and Kalyn and they were both Super sweet. Carol Hannah said that she was working on a line of wedding dresses so that will be interesting to see, so can't wait for that...

So I got a lovely surprise Yesterday when I came home from work to find a package from one of my favorite brands 5Preview (I had mentioned them before here where I had tried to recreate their necklace).

I was so excited not only did I get the Double 5 Necklace, which I have to say is even better in real life! But I also got this Tee shirt which is awesome and fits just how I like them, widish neck and it's also nice and soft.

Oh and the boots yes they are a grey version of my black ones (worn in fadetodust post).

OMG almost forgot, for you New Yorkers out there... I heard today that Project Runway people are going to be near my work tomorrow at 11am.

Broadway and 7th ave (by the big button).

I think I may just go to tell Tim Gunn that he is awesome and that we need to be friends!

Anyone else love project Runway as much as me?

Well have green fingers no more my friends!
My friend Jennie had a good tip ...She said to coat them in clear nail polish and it protects the green finger disease and the silver/gold chipping away!!

This is what I wore to Work today.

Even though it's bloody freezing outside it was still sunny so we took the pictures by the window in the sunlight!

I love the contrast of the dreamy lace and white tee combo against the Rocker Rubber leggings and Blackboard Wall.

This is actually part of the back drop to one of our rig rooms at work to showcase our designs.

It's not yet finished but it's based upon a Varsity themed concept ... hence the blackboard wall upon which we have to draw on in the next few days!

OK now I have to share with you that I am in LLLLOOOOOVVVEEEEEE with these leggings... They are floral and sequined, they're falling apart and I'm loosing sequins everyday but I love them and can't stop wearing them...

And OH EM GEE get a load of these shoes HELLO! only £12 at Primark, admittedly they are Faux Suede but at that price who cares :)

Also bought the best fur coat today at Camden Market.... Will post soon!!

OUT WITH O NINE IN WITH TEN! (SKETCH BOOK 5)

Hope you all had a bloody fantastic New Years!

I really have a good feeling about "twenty ten"... it'll definitely be an improvement on o nine for all of us!!!

My evening was pretty chill as I spent it at home with the family!

My plans for 2010? (apart from eating healthy, trying to work out more bla bla) is to actually try and get more of my designs manufactured and into production!

So I thought what's more appropriate than starting right now? on my first post for 2010!!
